The Best Restaurant Websites in Atlanta
March 9, 2022
Atlanta restaurants are using BentoBox to grow their brands and increase their revenue. Here are some of our favorite examples.
Across the country, restaurant operators are preparing to face the "new normal" — and Atlanta, GA, restaurants are no different.
To do this, many restaurants are creating best-in-class websites that meet the challenges — and seize the opportunities — of the current moment. They're investing in custom design to leave a strong, brand-first impression on future diners. They're setting up online commerce stores to diversify revenue and fight back against third-party commissions. And they're integrating websites with other technology to streamline workflows and operate with fewer, higher-paid staff members.
Want to see how that looks in action? From Old Fourth Ward to Kirkwood, we found some of the best Atlanta websites built on BentoBox, the premier online marketing and commerce platform for restaurants. Check them out below.
The Little Tart Bakeshop
Like the colorful rows of pastries that line its display cases, The Little Tart Bakeshop's website is a feast for the eyes. The brand's unique style is especially clear on its Locations page, which uses custom illustrations and color blocking to introduce stores in Grant Park, Summerhill, Krog Street Market and farmers markets across the city. The hand-drawn aesthetics and conversational writing position Little Tart as a warm, friendly, artisan bake shop — something its baked goods are famous for delivering on.

Rowdy Tiger Whiskey Bar & Kitchen
With black-and-white photography and dark, brooding design elements, Rowdy Tiger's website is a time machine back to the Prohibition era. It also does a masterful job of guiding users to high-priority pages. For example, during Black History Month, a pop-up alert informed users about a signature cocktail made with Uncle Nearest 1856, a whiskey created by the first black master distiller. At the same time, a homepage banner directed users to learn about its seasonal Winter Wonderland igloos. By strategically using these website features, Rowdy Tiger ensures its most relevant promotions get seen.
Redbird
Redbird is a labor of love from chef Zeb Stevenson and Ross Jones, a pair of industry veterans who have each worked in Atlanta for more than 20 years. With airy photos and warm descriptions, the website outlines their detailed approach to hospitality, restaurant design and cooking. The website also makes it easy to buy and send digital gift cards, which is important for a restaurant that builds such an intimate connection with its guests. Especially during holiday season, this creates a valuable source of passive revenue.
Daily Chew
Founded by Stop Think Chew owner Julia Kesler Imerman, Daily Chew began serving coffee, protein bowls, rotisserie chicken, pita wraps and more to Piedmont Heights in November 2021. The walk-up window has already amassed a flurry of press and followers, and its website serves as an online hub for its business. The site design balances photos, graphics and text to tell a compelling brand story, but the main draw of the website is its direct online ordering feature, which already drives meaningful revenue for the young restaurant.

Anis Cafe & Bistro
Anis Cafe & Bistro brings the taste of Provence, France, to the heart of Buckhead. Like its on-premises dining space, its website is bright and airy, with details that make it feel authentically French. Its website is also an impressive online commerce engine, with digital gift cards and direct online ordering capabilities. Photos of each menu item are prominent on its online ordering menu, which helps with user navigation and increases checkout rates.
South City Kitchen
South City Kitchen serves sophisticated southern cuisine to four locations across metro Atlanta: Midtown, Buckhead, Vinings and Avalon. Its website helps guests find what they're looking for by immediately prompting them to choose between those locations, then guiding them to location-specific information. For example, each location has its own private events page, which outlines key features of the venue, provides a fact sheet and allows guests to submit online inquiries. Diners get an easy, relevant site experience, while the restaurant gets to manage all locations through one platform.
Spiced Right Ribhouse
Spiced Right Ribhouse is an old-school, authentic barbecue joint in Roswell, Georgia. Though it's technically outside Atlanta, its website does such an expert job evoking its brand that it needs to be mentioned. The ripped texture beneath the navigation bar and hero images, along with the subtle use of burlap backgrounds, perfectly captures the down-home vibe of the restaurant. The same is true of the script font in the menu section, which is text-based rather than PDF to help with SEO discoverability.
Waffle Bar
Waffle Bar, a creative chicken and waffle restaurant in East Atlanta, is known for its unique and decadent toppings. Its website captures this spirit from the moment you land on its homepage, with high-resolution photos of its syrupy, sugary creations. It also has direct online ordering that allows for custom branding, including a beautiful overhead image of colorful waffles. The visual design of the website says a lot about the restaurant, while the commerce features make it easy for guests to experience it for themselves.
